Salvatore Sciarrino recording earns the prestigious Diapason d’Or award A CD containing the work of Salvatore Sciarrino has been awarded the Diapason d’Or, the most sought after prize in the French classical record industry. The CD, performed by the Orchestra Sinfonica Nazionale della RAI conducted by Tito Ceccerini, includes the pieces Il Suono e il Tacere (2004) and Shadow of Sound (2005). These works are published by RAI trade, a company that Faber Music is proud to represent in the UK.
